ADAM COPELAND - PASTOR
Adam Copeland begins as pastor of Lexington Baptist Church October 15th. Adam and his wife Kimberly met while attending Ouachita Baptist University. Adam holds an MA in Cross-Cultural Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary, and an MDIV in Missiology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. During college Adam signed up for the Marine Reserves.
He was eventually called up for three years’ active duty and a one-year deployment to Iraq.
After serving as missionaries with the International Mission Board for four years, the Copelands moved to McKinney, TX where Adam served as the Director of International Chaplains – Good News Jail and Prison Ministry. Adam and Kimberly have been married for fourteen years and have four children

Sherry has been a member and serving at Lexington since 1998. Sherry believes God has led her to this position so that He might use her abilities to reach people for Christ's glory. She is married to Tommy Stephens and has three grown children and 1 grandson.
